00:00A police investigation is continuing after two men were stabbed during a day rave at a music venue in Digbeth.
00:07Officers were called to Lunar Springs on Lower Trinity Street shortly before 7 o'clock on Saturday evening.
00:15West Midlands Police say both men were taken to hospital and their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
00:21The force says inquiries are continuing to establish exactly what happened
00:26and officers are asking anyone with information or mobile phone footage to contact them.
00:33The venue was hosting Crew 2, the Birmingham shutdown at the time.
00:38Some people at the event posted online that it ended early
00:41and pictures showed signs at the venue saying there had been an incident.
00:46People were also directed to leave by the nearest exit.
00:50Crew 2 events later said the after party had been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances
00:56and said ticket holders for both the main event and after party would be contacted.
01:02Before the event, organisers had posted that guests would be searched on entry
01:06as Lunar Springs operated a strict search policy.
01:10Lunar Springs describes itself as Birmingham's biggest event space with capacity for up to 3,000 guests.
01:17It also says it's part of the Safer Together campaign where staff are trained to look out for customers.
01:24West Midlands Police have not said whether any arrests have been made and say inquiries are continuing.
