00:00Good morning, everybody.
00:01Welcome to day one, the Michael Jackson.
00:03Yeah!
00:05I never saw my dad perform live.
00:07For me, this is the closest I will ever
00:09get to seeing my father and my family in tune.
00:13It was amazing to have some of Michael's original band
00:16members come to watch Jafar.
00:17And for them to say, this is giving me chills,
00:20and I feel like I'm in a time machine,
00:21I knew we were on something special.
00:25Jonathan Muffet, Michael's drummer, showed up,
00:27and he had tears in his eyes.
00:29And he said, I can't believe I'm watching it.
00:33It's like being in a time capsule.
00:35We get to reflect on our life and our careers.
00:39We see how they're recreating his story.
00:42And we've been a part of the creation of his story,
00:44that we live with him.
00:45Pretty remarkable experience.
00:49This is pretty emotional to come here and to see everything
00:53that's going on.
00:55Because when I got invited, I didn't really know what to expect.
00:58The walking in here just really brought me back to those moments.
01:03It's such a gas.
01:05It's giving me flashbacks and giving me a lump in my throat.
01:09I was sitting with Vince Patterson, and he was wiping the tears away,
01:13because the music is so powerful.
01:15Marlon watching himself up on the stage, you know, was very, very moving too.
01:21This just brings back so many memories from when we did the Victory Tour.
01:25Jafar is unbelievable.
01:28You know, so proud to be his uncle.
01:29Just to see Michael's nephew, he did the exact same thing that Michael would do.
01:35Little tiny movements that he's doing with his hands were so Michael.
01:39I worked with Michael back in the day and shot all the concerts.
01:42And looking through the lens at Jafar, he looks and acts, his mannerisms.
01:47He's Michael Jackson.
01:49Jafar is otherworldly.
01:51It's in the DNA.
01:52I can't imagine a better suited person to play this role.
02:00Speaking to Prince a little while ago about it,
02:02he's so excited that it's all about the family's involvement.
02:08I've had a few people who were either on tour with my dad or they worked with him,
02:12and they came here and they said,
02:14when you saw Michael Jackson perform on stage, it gave you a feeling.
02:18And they get that same feeling with your father.
02:23Oh!
