00:00This series is all about this thin line when you don't know anymore.
00:04Is it real or is she losing her mind? When I see unstable people out there
00:12talking to invisible things or persons and wandering around, I always wonder,
00:19what are they actually seeing? And after watching this amazing series Undone...
00:25You're pushing yourself too hard. Keep doing me. I can't do this. I can't keep ending up places.
00:31Go! Seeing stuff and missing things.
00:35I started thinking, what if these people are just stuck in another dimension or timeline we are not
00:43able to see? At some point the series become darker, more unsettling, because my character isn't just
00:49noticing things anymore, she's slipping into something she can't control. And yeah,
00:55here we're touching the Black Mirror vibe. I like so much. For the final scene in the bath,
01:01I had this image of the Matrix in mind when Neo wakes up from the simulation pod and steps into
01:09the real
01:10world. I really wanted this scene to feel uncanny and weird, but I had so many fails. I wanted to
01:18reproduce the sticky water effect, but then I ended up putting milk and plastic wrap in the bath.
01:27And I also wanted to have strange elements floating, so I made these big red jelly balls,
01:35but then when I put them in the bath, they just sank straight to the bottom. So yeah,
01:41I think I might need to work on my physics again. So at the end, the red light of the
01:47nanlite did most
01:48of the job. That's how my journey as a solo filmmaker started. I'll keep making these behind the scenes
01:55videos after each series, so we can see how I improve, evolve, and how I explore ways of making movies.
02:03The next series will be very different, less distortion, less glitches, but more control,
02:11more reality, but not in a good way. See you on the next adventure!
