The husband and brother-in-law of a woman found dead at a home in Springfield Lakes last night have been charged with her murder. Police seized a Mercedes from the property and are working with the Afghanistan Consulate to notify next of kin. The two men are due to face the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday.

00:00It was described as a chaotic and confronting scene for first responders.
00:07Emergency services were called to an Ipswich home on Friday night,
00:11following reports a woman had collapsed.
00:14Attempts were made to revive that female, however sadly they were unsuccessful.
00:18The residence has been declared a crime scene,
00:21a Mercedes car taken from the property.
00:24A post-mortem examination will be conducted to inspect the deceased
00:29and to identify exactly what has happened to her.
00:32I can't comment at this stage as to any injuries that she may have sustained.
00:36It's believed the family had been living at the address for a short period of time,
00:41having originally come from Afghanistan.
00:43At the moment we're trying to establish through consulate and other lines of inquiry
00:48a next of kin to contact in regards to what's happened.
00:52The two men are expected to appear in the Ipswich Madraschitz Court on Monday,
00:55each charged with one count of murder.
00:58Detectives are appealing for anyone with further information to come forward.
