A parking garage that has been cited dozens of times for violations since 2003 collapsed in New York City, killing one worker and injuring at least five others.

00:00This was the scene in Lower Manhattan after a four-story parking garage collapsed on itself.
00:05On the afternoon of April 18, a portion of the garage crumbled and left cars crushed on top of one another.
00:11A garage worker was killed in the collapse, and at least five others were injured.
00:15Emergency responders used a robotic dog and drones to assess the situation and conduct searches.
00:21New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the building was completely unstable and nearby structures were evacuated out of precaution.
00:28According to officials, an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the structural collapse.
00:34In the past, the parking garage structure was cited 45 times for violations, with 25 of them occurring since 2003.
