X Factor India - X Factor India Season-1 Episode 22 - Full Episode - 29th July, 2011

Another episode starts with the announcement the safe contestants. Seema Jha, Kartar Singh, Nirmitee, Geet Sagar & Deewana Group are declared safe this week, while Amit Jhadav & Sajda Sisters are voted at the bottom two. In the face-off round Amit Jhadav performs on 'Tu Aashiqui Hai' & Sajda Sisters perform on 'Allah Yeh Ada Kaisi'. All the judge gurus vote for Sajda Sisters and Amit Jhadav gets eliminated from the competition. The show proceeds with a dramatic entry by the Bad Man of Bollywood, Gulshan Grover. In this episode the performances will be dedicated to the villains of the Hindi movie industry. The first performer of the evening is Geet Sagar, who gives a powerful performance on the anthem of evil characters 'Khalnayak'. Sajda Sisters enter the stage in a new avatar. They set the stage on fire with their bold and beautiful performance on 'Aaj Ki Raat'. Then, Aditya Narayan reveals that Sonu Nigam performs both the male and the female part on stage. So, he asks him to sing a few lines for everyone. Sonu throws a surprise by singing in female voice. Nirmitee Group presents an interesting version of 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein' by giving the male part to Ranjana and backing her with male chorus. This time they manage to get the famous rose of Sanjay Leela Bhansali for their exciting performance. Deewana Group comes dressed up like seven village side villains and performs on 'Omkara'. After the performance, Mohd Rafique mimics the bad man, Gulshan Grover. Then, Gulshan Grover is asked to recite some of his dialogues. Seema Jha shocks everyone with her intro dressed up like Gabbar Singh and then an amazing performance of Seema Jha in a Basanti style shocks everyone. She performs on 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' & once again manages to get standing ovation. Gulshan Grover hugs her exclaiming "fantastic and extra ordinary". Gulshan Grover also gives some comical moments by flirting with Shreya Ghoshal in this episode. Kartar Singh comes with a recreation of 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai'. Gulshan Grover gets inspired by him and goes to the stage and takes blessings from Kartar Singh. Aditya Narayan asks Kartar Singh to show his villainous side and so, he does an evil laugh, which eventually fetches him a standing ovation. Before leaving the show, Gulshan Grover thanks X Factor for giving a tribute to the villains. The next episode will be a Musical Heroes Special.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali: Needless to say, one of India's greatest film makers having moved hearts right from his first film, Khamoshi -- The Musical to Hum Dil Chuke Sanam to Guzaarish, this producer, writer, director and recently turned musician has received several accolades for his creativity abilities. As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.
Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
